If I Could Save Pie In A Bottle

It’d taste like Schlafly Pumpkin Ale.

It smells like banana bread, but when you take a sip it’s got a pumpkin pie spice bite.

After the first sip I wasn’t so sure I liked it.  It was the cloves, not my favorite flavor.  I was so disappointed because I had heard such good things!

But then I learned my lesson.  Don’t be too quick to judge, because with sip two, I liked it.  It lingers on your tongue and leaves a mellow pumpkin pie taste in your mouth.

With sip three it really grew on me.  And by the end of my glass I was lovin’ it.  Complex, pumkin-y, and smooth finishing.  A definite win in my book.

Have you had a pumpkin brew this season?  What’s your favorite?
