Not So Guilty Pleasure

Peach Crisp

1/3 cup whole wheat flour

1/3 cup white flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

3/4 cup walnuts, chopped

2/3 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup butter

Pile of peaches (sorry I can’t be more specific)

1.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2.  Use some of the butter to grease a 1 quart casserole dish.

3.  Peel and slice enough peaches to fill the casserole dish.

4.  Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl.

5.  Sprinkle dry mixture over peaches.

6.  Dot with butter.

7.  Bake for ~30 minutes or until slightly browned.

It’s hearty and earthy. 

It’s full of fiber.

It’s naturally sweet. 

It’s good for you.
