Half Way There…

I didn’t accomplish everything, but it was a good start.  I tried to pick workouts I was in the mood for, rather than skip them all together.  I’m not going to lie, I was often tempted to skip them completely.  Getting back into the workout groove is hard.  Building in the active leisure helped increase my activity overall.  It’s gotta be fun!

I do feel like I’m even more excited to try the same goals for the next two weeks.  I want to accomplish the them even more the second time around.  I’m well on my way after just yesterday and today!

I totally was planning to go to my usual cycle class today and already have two under my belt.  However, an instructor I absolutely do not like was subbing today.  Boo!  I walked in, saw her, looked at Steve, and pointed her out to him.  I said, please can we go, I’ll do any workout as long as it’s not with her!  He agreed!  And so did some other people in the class apparently.  A lady behind me laughed and concurred that she hated the instructors attitude.  She even told me others had commented as they walked in the door and saw who was teaching.

It’s amazing how an instructor in a group exercise class can influence how the workout goes.  This instructor gets off her bike in the middle of class to take a break while the rest of us keep biking.  She goes outside to get water.  And instead of encouraging words she just yells, go go go go go, in high pitched annoying voice.  It’s such joke Steve and I have started to yell it at each other randomly.  Yeah we’re weird like that.

So instead of go go go go go, I had a lovely run on the treadmill.  Now I’m cr-a-zy sore.  It feels good.

What do you love or hate in a group exercise instructor?
